Every visit includes skimming the surface, brushing walls and tile, vacuuming the floor, emptying skimmer and pump baskets, checking the filter and testing and balancing the water chemistry. You get a note after every visit about what we did and how the pool is doing.
During swim season a pool should be cleaned and tested weekly, or every two weeks for pools with covers and light use. In the Seattle off season, service keeps debris and algae from getting ahead of you, so spring opening is easy instead of a rescue.
Cartridge filters need a deep clean every three to six months, and sand or DE filters need backwashing when pressure rises 8 to 10 psi over the clean baseline. Pools under Northwest tree cover often need it more often. Filter care is included in our maintenance plans.
